'Rideopoly' - The New Commuter Oriented Promotional Flash Game Released

'Rideopoly', the Flash based interactive promotional game has been launched for South Florida Commuter Services (SFCS).  As part of SFCS'  continuing mission to inform the public about the benefits of taking alternative modes of transportation, Rideopoly was created to put a new twist on a relatively straight forward topic that tends to lack the excitement needed to make an impact when communicating with the masses.

Available at www.rideopoly.com, this promotion includes prizes such as a, two-year lease on a new Honda Civic, weekend getaway at the Westin Diplomat Beach Resort, $2,500 in gas from Chevron, Sun Pass transponders and more.

Players register for the promotion, and would roll dice like they would in any board game.  As they moved about the board they would land on squares for either Transit Partners or Retail Partners. Each square contained messaging pertaining to each partner. In addition to regular game squares there were instant win squares, as well as those with randomized factoids to increase the number of transit messages the players were exposed to.

Over all this was a great success and we look forward to Rideopoly V2, next year.
